Former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke and his ex-wife Kyly put on a united front on Wednesday as they attended ‘s state memorial in Melbourne.
And the former couple returned to together the following day, looking solemn as they walked through the terminal after what was no doubt an emotionally tough time for them both.
Michael, 40, who was friends with Shane on and off the field, dressed casually for the flight in a black T-shirt and shorts.

Kyly, also 40, looked chic in a pair of black pants, which she teamed with a white T-shirt and sleek blazer.
The Clarkes both carried Louis Vuitton luggage, including a backpack and shoulder bag, as they made their way to a silver Mercedes-Benz.
The former couple had arrived at the MCG together for Shane’s state memorial alongside Michael’s personal assistant Sasha Armstrong.

Shane died aged 52 from a suspected heart attack while on a boys’ holiday on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand on Friday, March 4.
Thai authorities ruled he died of natural causes.
The celebrated leg spinner is survived by his three children, ex-wife Simone Callahan, parents Brigitte and Keith, and brother Jason.

Michael shared a special tribute to his friend during the memorial service.
He said through tears in a pre-recorded video: ‘I was asked the other day how you say goodbye…I don’t think I ever can. But I can say see you later.’
Michael and Shane played cricket together for Australia and were known to be close.

Kyly shared her heartbreak on social media after Shane’s death.
‘So very, very sad to hear this news this morning,’ said the former model-turned-interior decorator.
‘I’m in shock, can’t believe this just happened.Life can be so short, so unpredictable, hug tight and spend all the time you can with those you love,’ she added.
